MEC SPORT 2008-09

MECSPORT, is the term coined for our College Sports Day for the academic year (2008-09) Many sports and games were conducted for the students and also for staff members.
The students were grouped into four Houses

“MecSport 2008-09” Track and field were conducted for  students and staff members on 28th March 2009

           Our beloved Principal gave Welcome Address .Our Hour able Managing Director presided over the function. There was March Past of Various Houses, which lead by Greeen House, Red House, Yellow House and Blue House.

After the March past, a torch was brought by the athletes from the Campus gate and handed over to our Managing Director for  lighting the MECSPORT09.

Prize Distribution: Mecsport-2009

         Prize distribution ceremony was held on 29th March at 3.30PM  our Honorable Chairman  Sri. N.Kesavan .Our respected Managing Director Shri.M. Dhanasekaran , Honorable secretary Shri .S.V. Sugumaran and our   beloved Principal Dr.V.Ilangovan were present on the occasion  Our chief guest Sri. S.Arivazhapan Inspector of Police, Mailam, gave away the prizes to the winners.

	Winner: Red House	Runner: Yellow House

The over all championship for House went to Red House and the Runner up went to Yellow House.The Overall championship for men awarded to E. Elathiryan of IIyear Mech and . The overall championship for women awarded to  Rukamani IIyear C.S.E .Physical Director Mr.K.velmurugan proposed vote of thanks.
