Provision for withdrawal from Examination
i) A candidate may, for valid reasons (medically unfit/unexpected family situations), be granted permission to withdraw from appearing for any course or courses of only one semester examination during the entire duration of the degree programmes. Also only one application for with drawl is permitted for that semester examination in which withdraw is sought.
Withdraw application shall be valid only if the candidates is, otherwise, eligible to write the examination and if it is made prior to the examination in that course or courses sand also recommended by the head of the department and the principal of the college.
Withdraw shall not be considered as appearance for the eligibility of a candidate for the purpose of classification.

Attendance Requirement |
Minimum 75% of overall attendance
* Between 65% to 75% only due to medical reasons or participation in sports |
Candidate who do not complete the semester except medical reason and participations in sports (less than 75% of attendance) will not be permitted to write the university examination at the end of the semester and will not be permitted to go to next semester . They are required to repeat the incomplete semester in the next academic year. |
Passing requirement |
Total marks 50% with minimum of 45% in university examinations. |
