With
technology and business in a state of flux, speed of thought and
competitiveness are the criteria, which separates the best from the
rest. In order to equip our students with the most current in this
ephemeral technological field we have set up a state-of-the-art
laboratory, which is upgraded periodically. We have also added latest
topics like VLSI design and Embedded Technology to keep students aware
of the recent changes. Students are offered VLSI design as an elective
in the sixth semester. This helps them a lot when they attend their
placement interviews.
Electric control lab
Measuring the unknown resistance,
inductance and capacitance.
Verification of various theorems
like Thevinin's theorem, Norton's theorem, Maximum power transfer
theorem, Superposition theorem, Verification of Kirchoff's law, study
the characteristics of filters and resonance circuits.

Department activities
Electronics & Communication
students association "COMMTRONICS" was inaugurated on 16th August
2002 by Dr.M.Arumugam, Principal, REC, Trichy.
Guest lecture on "SPINTRONICS"
was given by Mr.S.Jayasamraj, Deputy Director, NPTI- Neyveli.
Many of the students has udergone
training in various industries and institutions. |
