INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS CELL

Intellectual Property Rights Cell has been initiated in our college in the year 2008 and organized various programmes for the benefit of staff and students related to IPR.

In present scenario, a lot of tiny, new and materialistic inventions are being witnessed to cope up with the competitive business era. These inventions are to be protected legally and publicized. In India, the awareness related to legal procedure of protecting the inventions is low. So the Indian Government and other governing bodies are formulating IPR policies which create a conducive environment for inventors to protect their innovations and technologies.

Objectives

  • To create awareness among the Engineering and Management students about Intellectual Property Rights in and around our region.
  • To act as a facilitator for the young technocrats to file patents for their valuable inventions.
